ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railway has decided to decreased fares by 30 percent ahead of Eid-al-Fitr.
According to Pakistan Railway spokesperson, the decrease is amid to facilitate people on this Eid who want to travel to their homes.
The decrease will be only for first two days of Eid-al-Fitr.
Earlier, Pakistan Railway has decided to increased business class fares by 16 percent ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.
After 16 percent increase in fares Karachi to Rawalpindi expected to increase up to Rs 550 while Rs 610 expected to increase per ticket from Karachi to Peshawar.
It is pertinent to mention here that the railway also announced to run special train during Eid.
