ISLAMABAD: Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz Monday said that Pakistan was pursuing very effective policy over the grave situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK), exposing the gross human rights violations and atrocities committed by the Indian occupation forces.
Talking to media persons here after attending a photo exhibition event, the advisor said India had been constantly obstructing access of the fact-finding mission of the United Nations Human Rights and Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) contact group to IoK.
He said the government of Pakistan had written letters to the UN general secretary and other world leaders about the Indian atrocities against the innocent Kashmiris and reminded them to resolve the issue in line with the UN Security Council resolutions.
To a query, he said Pakistan was facilitating the peace process in Afghanistan as member of the Quadrilateral Coordination Group (QCG).
