MAKKAH: Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Sunday performed Umrah and met King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting, held in the holy city of Makkah, lasted for about an hour. Earlier on Saturday, Sharif arrived in Jeddah to perform Umrah.
Governor of Jeddah Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, officials of Pakistani embassy and a number of Saudi officials received him at King Abdulaziz International Airport.
According to a PM House statement, the Saudi King also hosted an Iftar dinner in honour of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
