LAHORE: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq has said that in the world elections are held first and then the government is formed, but in Pakistan is the only country where the government is formed first and then elections are held.
Addressing a press conference in Mansoora, Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haque said that stability and peaceful environment persist wherever elections are held. akistan is the only country where chaos increases after elections, he added.
Siraj-ul-Haq said that the election was held in 70, but the results were not accepted. Later, elections were held in 1977 that were rigged and then the nation had to endure 11 years of martial law, and this game continues even today.
He said that the environment in which the election has been held has increased polarization. Unless the nation has confidence in the results, no system or govt will work.
Pakistan’s system is strange, elections are held here but there is no electricity. Internet does not work on that day. Election day is a day of fear for people, people cannot talk to each other, he said.
