WASHINGTON: Pakistan Foreign Secretaty Aizaz Chaudhry on Friday said that Pakistan is not selling or sharing nuclear technology with any other country.

Aizaz Chaudhry categorically rejected the notion that Pakistan is or has any plans to sell nuclear assets to Saudi Arabia or any other country.

“Pakistan’s nuclear program has nothing to do with any other country”, said Chaudhry.

He maintained that Pakistan’s nuclear assets are there for country’s own external security. Chauhdry also dicarded the possibility of the nuclear assets landing into hands of any terrorist organization.

The foreign secretary talked to media after meeting a number of American Officials in US capital.

It must be noted that US and other western powers are raising doubts since Pakistan’s declaration of becoming a nuclear power in 1998 that the lethal technology may be shared with any other Muslim country.
