Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Norwegian counterpart Erna Solberg agreed to enhance cooperation in energy and discussed overall security situation during an important meeting held in Oslo.
Both high-ups also exchanged views of Afghanistan issue and Pakistan-India ties besides seeking cooperation by hydro-power projects of Norway.
PM Nawaz Sharif said that the country is suffering severe power crisis while the government is making efforts to counter the issue within 2-3 years. Both countries also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in solar energy.
