ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has arrived in London for three-day official visit to the United Kingdom (UK) on Friday (today). PM Nawaz Sharif while talking to journalists said that Pakistan has strong ties with Saudi Arabia while the ally country has not given any ‘wish-list’ to the Pakistan.
PM Nawaz Sharif said that Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit was prominently successful for Pakistan. He said that China has not placed huge investments with any developed country so far that clearly exhibited proven friendship between neighbouring Pakistan and China.
He refuted rumours that Saudi Arabia has not provided any wish list to Pakistan during his visit to the kingdom to hold meeting with Saudi rulers. He clarified that Pakistan would react strong against every threats for Saudi borders.
Pakistan wanted to find out peaceful solution through United Nations Security Council (UNSC) over Yemen crisis, PM Nawaz said. He said that some people had tried to create misunderstandings post resolution passed by Pakistani parliament for Yemen.
Commenting over Chinese President visit to Pakistan, he said that President Jinping’s visit had postponed following sit-ins in the country while the recent and first-ever visit was quite fruitful for economic aspects. Pakistan signed various projects worth $46 billion with China that would definitely open new doors towards economic stability, PM Nawaz said.
He said that Gwadar was going to be an international city while a new era of prosperity was going to begin in Azad Kashmir. Pakistani was moving steadily towards economic stability and foreign reserves were consistently hiking up following firm policies, he added.
PM said that Pakistan-China Economic Corridor project would leave significantly positive effects across the country while special security forces were being formed to ensure security of Chinese workers for economic projects.
