Pakistan government has commenced process to cancel registration of 23 international Non Government Organisations (NGOs).
Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) underlined 23 international NGOs under the National Action Plan (NAP) after non-filing of audited accounts despite several notices.
SECP will scrutinize the working and accounts of the foreign NGOs out of overal 33 over not filing annual accounts and other required returns.
Few reports revealed that the likely-to-be banned NGOs also include ‘Save The Children’ during the latest phase of action by the government.
