Pakistan, Iran defense ministers discuss border security issues

MOSCOW: Defense Ministers of Pakistan and Iran have discussed border security issues and necessity to take appropriate decisions in this area.  

The bilateral talk between Khawaja Mohammad Asif and Hossein Dehqan was held on the sidelines Conference on International Security in Moscow.

On the occasion, Defense Minister Khawaja Mohammad Asif underlined expansion of relations.

He said that Iran as an ancient country with bright civilization has plenty of capacities and capabilities, which could be so useful an effective for Islamic world.

Khawaja Asif said both sides should try not to allow radical groups to endanger security and stability neither in borders nor inside the countries.

Iran’s Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan said that the Pakistan as a friendly neighbouring country can play a very effective and constructive role in settling regional crises.
