Pakistan-India series likely in Sri Lanka: sources

LAHORE: Cricket boards of both Pakistan and India will decide fate of the most awaited series between arch rivals while is now likely to be played in Sri Lanka, sources said.

Reports were circulating for the organisation of Pakistan-India cricket series expected to be on Sri Lankan grounds after rejection of both countries to select options of Bangladesh and UAE.

Sources closer to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that the series is likely to be scheduled from December 20 to January 3, 2015 including three One Day International (ODI) and two Twenty20 (T20) matches.

Whereas, Indian media also reported that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will announce final decision after a high-level meeting scheduled on November 27, 2015 with highest ratio of expectations for a positive response to PCB.
