KARACHI: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Pakistan has not progressed as fast as it should have, but now, by the grace of Allah, the country is on the right track.

Imran has arrived in Karachi on a one-day visit on Tuesday where he inaugurated the shiplift and transfer system at the shipyard.

The prime minister was accompanied by Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, federal ministers and others.

The prime minister said that our record deficit has been minimized and we are trying to stop money laundering, adding that efforts are being made to prevent dollars from going out of the country illegally. Corrupt rulers all over the world send money out of the country, he added.

He added that in the past, imports were given priority over exports, but now we will take every step to enhance exports.
