ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani asked federal and provincial government to make constitutional history of Pakistan should be made a compulsory subject in order to spread awareness regarding the Constitution amongst students.
Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani dispatched separate letters to Prime Minister and Chief Ministers of all provinces to make step for addition of constitutional history of Pakistan in academic curriculums for intermediate level students.
He said that the decision was brought under discussion in Senate session held on April 13, 2015 and agreed by parliamentary leaders and members. The letter also reminded to observe April 10, 2015 as ‘Constitution Day’ in remembrance of approval of the 1973’s Constitution of Pakistan.
