Pakistan conducts successful training launch of Ghaznavi ballistic missile: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan on Thursday conducted a successful training launch of Ghaznavi, a surface-to-surface ballistic missile, an ISPR statement says.

It added that the ballistic missile has the capability to deliver multiple types of warheads upto 290 kilometers.

“The training launch was part of Field Training Exercise of Army Strategic Forces Command aimed at rehearsing operational readiness procedures during day and night,” the statement said.

High-ranking officers from Army Strategic Forces Command, Strategic Plans Division, Strategic Forces Command, Scientists and Engineers of the strategic organizations and Lieutenant General Nadeem Zaki Manj, Director General Strategic Plans Division witnessed the training launch.
