Pakistan government has recorded its strong protest against rocket attack made from Afghanistan side on Angur Ada check post located in North Waziristan Agency (NWA).
Pakistan government expressed deep concerns over increasing numbers of incidents from Afghanistan side.
The statement released by the Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO) on Tuesday said that authorities have made immediate contact with Afghan military officials in order to void deterioration of peace situation following the cross-border attacks.
FO spokesperson expressed fear that such incidents were direct threat to joint targets of both countries making efforts to establishing peace. He urged Afghan government to make rapid measures to stop such attacks.
It should be mentioned here that five rockets were fired from Afghan side at Angur Ada check post situated in North Waziristan Agency (NWA) on Sunday.
