Pakistan condemns Bangkok shrine blast

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a popular shrine in central Bangkok, yesterday, which resulted in the loss of precious lives.

The people and the Government of Pakistan share the pain and anguish of the people and the Government of Thailand over the terrorist attack. We convey our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and pray for speedy recovery of the injured, Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign affairs said in a press release.

Terrorism is common enemy of the mankind. Pakistan reiterates its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, the statement read.

A bomb on a motorcycle exploded on Monday just outside a Hindu shrine in the Thai capital, killing 27 people, including foreign tourists, media reported, in an attack the government said was a bid to destroy the economy.
