DUBAI: Pakistan captain and wicket keeper Safraz Ahmed has been offered spot-fixing by a bookie here.
Sources said a bookie from an international fixing syndicate approached Sarfraz Ahmed and made a spot-fixing offer to him before the second one-day against Sri Lanka in Dubai.
However, the Pakistan captain had informed the PCB’s anti-corruption unit about the offer.
Pakistan players have been directed not not meet with strangers.
On the other hand, PCB has refused to confirm the incident in Dubai.
