Pakistan team in the last edition held at Dubai, beat England in the final to win the tournament. England being the co-founder of Disabled Cricket along with Pakistan, will be hosting the tournament for the first time.

Rashid said Disabled Cricket World Cup will also be held in England next year which is a big achievement and a boost for disabled cricket.
He thanked Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the partial funding and besides providing lodging, practice matches and camp facilities at National Stadium Karachi and also the sponsors for their continuous support.
