KOLKATA: Pakistan on Monday defeated Sri Lanka by 15 runs in the World T20 Warm-up Matche at Eden Gardens.
Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first. Pakistan set Sri Lanka 158 runs target on five wickets but Sri Lanka failed to chase the target. Sri Lanka made 133 runs on eight wickets in its inning.
Mohammad Hafeez was the top scorer of Pakistani team, he scored 70 runs on 49 balls. While Sri Lankan player Thirimanne scored 45 runs in the match. Imad Wasim clinched four wickets and played a vital role in the victory of Pakistan.
