ISLAMABAD: Pakistan here on Tuesday strongly condemned the US drone strike in Spinkai Raghzai area of North Waziristan Agency (NWA) and urged the US to immediately halt drone strikes in Pakistan.
Foreign Office in a statement said that the US drone strikes in disregard of Pakistan’s territorial sovereignty and international law. “We condemn such strikes which are in disregard of our territorial sovereignty and international law,” FO said.
Foreign Office further said that these events also generate distrust among the local populace. “We reiterate our call for cessation of such strikes,” it added.
A US drone strike in the Spinkai Raghzai area of North Waziristan Agency on Monday resulted in casualties.
