LAHORE: Pakistan won toss consecutively against Zimbabwe on Sunday (today) in last match of three-match ODI series here at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Pakistani skipper elected to bat first in final match with two changes made in the last team.
Harris Sohail and Muhammad Sami have been dropped from the team. Junaid Khan and Baber Azam have been given chance in last match of the series.
Baber Azam will play his debut match today.
The green shirts captain Azhar Ali after winning the toss said ‘We are going to bat first. It is a good wicket. Last time, there was no dew and we want to make use of the conditions. It is going well for us and we have a long way to go. We are looking for new guys. The crowd has been amazing, they have been coming out and supporting us. It is exceptional and hard to explain.”
While Zimbabwe skipper Hamilton Masakadza said “looks like a belter again. We will have to bowl in the right areas and restrict them. Hopefully, we can come out firing and chase it down. Last opportunity for us to win in this tour and we will come out hard.”
Pakistan will play to get clean sweep as they have won first two matches whereas the African team will look for at least one win in the three match series.
