LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday said trade and economic relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were being strengthened with the passage of time.
While talking to Saudi Ambassador in Pakistan Abdullah Marzuk Al-Zahrani in Lahore they discussed matters of mutual interest and ways to boost bilateral relations.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have historical brotherly relations and Saudi Arabia has always supported Pakistan in every time of need.
During the meeting, the chief minister expressed sorrow over the martyrdom of pilgrims in the tragic Mina incident.
The Saudi ambassador praised Shahbaz Sharif’s efforts for the development and prosperity in the province.
