PM Shehbaz takes notice of gas loadshedding during Sehri and Iftar

PISHIN: The Prime Minister of Pakistan and the President of Iran met at the Pak-Iran border.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi inaugurated the border market at Ridig Pashin, in which the 100 MW transmission line Polan Gabad from Iran has also been inaugurated.

Addressing the ceremony on this occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that he had a useful and positive conversation with the Iranian president, he has also presented suggestions related to CPEC, and will soon finalize free trade with Iran.

He said that there is a lot of scope related to electricity transmission, we will move forward together in this, this project is important for Iran-Pakistan friendship.

By establishing an order market, employment opportunities will be created for people living on both sides of the border and smuggling will be prevented.
The government is working on 5 more border markets which will be opened for trade soon.

The two leaders also inaugurated the 100 MW Gabd-Polan power transmission line.

Gabad-Polan transmission line was built in a record time thanks to the personal interest of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. With the completion of this transmission line, Iran’s total amount of low-cost electricity has reached 204 megawatts, which fulfilled Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s promise of uninterrupted electricity supply in Balochistan.
