LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Shehryar Khan on Wednesday said chances of bilateral cricket series with India had faded but not vanished.

‘It has been eight years since we did not play any cricket series with India so it does not matter much if it is cancelled. However, the doors are not yet shut for the series. If India do not reply in 10 days then we would take it as cancellation,’ he said while addressing a press conference after returning from India in Lahore.

He said he was watching all the drama from his hotel when Shiv Sena workers stormed Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) office and how they were given easy access inside.

‘I did not go to India on my wish, I was officially invited there,’ he said showing invitation letter to the media.
