Pak Army soldier, six civilians martyred in Indian firing from across LoC

RAWALPINDI: One Pak Army soldier and six civilians were martyred while two soldiers and two civilians injured in unprovoked firing from across the border by Indian forces along the Line of Control on Sunday. 


According to Inter-Services Public Relations, Indian forces committed ceasefire violations in three sectors Jura, Shahkot and Nousehri along the Line of Control, targeting civilians. As a result, a Pak Army soldier and six civilians were martyred while two soldiers and two civilians injured.

In a befitting response, Pak Army killed nine Indian soldiers and injured several others.


The Pakistan military’s media wing in a statement posted on twitter said: “Indian Army shall always get befitting response to CFVs. Pakistan Army shall protect innocent civilians along LOC & inflict unbearable cost to Indian Army. Indian lies to justify their false claims & preparations for a false flag operation will continue to be exposed with truth.”
