Pak Army starts provides free electricity to Swat citizens

Sawat: Pakistan army has launched 8 hydropower plants in Sawat valley. These power plants could provide24-hour electricity to about 0.2 million citizens.

Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Bilal Usmani said that Pakistan Army had launched these plants in Matta, Sawat. Three hundred houses and more than two hundred shops were provided electricity through these plants.

These plants were made by 6.5 million rupees in 8 months. Citizens have to pay only 150 rupees for maintenance.
