RAWALPINDI: The Afghan Director General Military Operations (DGMO) along with a delegation visited the army’s general headquarter in Rawalpindi on Thursday and met with his Pakistani counterpart.
In a press release issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the visit was sequel to COAS visit of Kabul in December 15 last year, during which regular bilateral interactions of Pakistan and Afghanistan military were decided as part of which bilateral Corps Commanders meet was also held at Peshawar last week.
During the meeting today, issues related to bilateral security and border management came under discussion.
Both sides reiterated that terrorists operating on either side of border will not be allowed to use their soil for any terrorists activity on either side of the border.
Both sides expressed resolve to continue the interaction for better bilateral military to military.
