ISLAMABAD: Opposition parties have protested against six presidential ordinance presented in the National Assembly (NA) on Monday (today).
Opposition leader in the NA, Khursheed Shah, expressed outrage by saying that the federal government has presented 150 ordinances within two years. Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) legislator Rasheed Godel said that the government put ordinance for whole sale in its tenure.
Opposition parties including Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and MQM expressed reservations over Cyber Crime Bill 2015 and demanded reviewing the bill to remove concerns.
Khursheed Shah also showed anger over absence of NA lawmakers, said that the opposition parties would boycott question time if the government failed to restrict ministers for ensuring their attendance in the NA. He advised the government to order cabinet members to appear in the assembly’s session.
