LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs Rana Sanaullah Friday said that someone misguided opposition regarding ongoing development projects in Punjab including Orange Line or it saw its future bleak in the shape of success of these projects.

Addressing a pre-session media briefing in Punjab Assembly here, he said that instead of baseless propaganda, opposition should fix a day for discussion of development projects including Orange Line in the assembly session.

He said that there was no city in the world which was metropolitan and had not services like metro bus and Orange Train.

“Why opposition is raising hue and cry if Lahore joins the comity of international cities with these projects,” he questioned.

Rana Sanaullah Khan said that Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif was committed to execute these projects.

He said development projects of the Punjab government were unprecedented with regard to transparency and it had also been acknowledged by Transparency International in its recent report.

He said this report had raised our morale. He said, “Opposition is following the policy of telling so much lies that feels like truth.”

Rana Sanaullah said that there were two objectives for announcing holidays for schools till January 31. One was to review security of schools and other was to protect the children from extreme cold, he added.
