LAHORE: Opposition has filed a no-confidence motion against Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.
A no-confidence motion against Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has been filed by the joint Opposition in which the performance of the chief minister has been targeted.
No-confidence motion resolution was signed by Rana Mashhood, Ramzan Siddique, Malik Ahmed and Mian Naseer Ahmed.

The text of motion said that Chief Minister Usman Buzdar was not trusted by the majority of the House and the affairs of Punjab were not being conducted in accordance with the Constitution.
PML-N leader Rana Mashhood has said that the no-confidence motion has the signatures of 122 members of PML-N and 6 members of PPP, while 100 members of PML-N and 6 members of PPP have signed the no-confidence motion.
Last week sources said that Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar had prepared a summary for dissolving the Punjab Assembly.
According to Punjab Chief Minister’s sources, the assembly can be dissolved on the orders of Imran Khan and if Imran Khan orders, the CM can also resign.
The sources said that the Prime Minister took Usman Buzdar with him from Kamalia to Islamabad.
On the other hand, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan for Political Media Shahbaz Gill has denied the summary of dissolution of the Punjab Assembly.
It may be recalled that Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed a public meeting in Kamalia today and appealed to the people to attend the meeting to be held in Islamabad tomorrow.
In addition, Prime Minister Imran Khan and PTI leaders have announced that the trump card will be announced at a meeting on March 27.
It is to be noted that the opposition has tabled a no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister in the National Assembly and a meeting has been called in this regard at 4 pm on Monday.
Earlier, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that the no-confidence motion would be voted on April 3 or 4.
