Operations under NAP have reduced terrorism, extortion, kidnapping for ransom s: CM Sindh

KARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah on Monday lauded National Action Plan (NAP) and said that effective implementation of the plan has been done in Sindh that helped reduction in crimes.

A meeting to review the decisions of NAP was held in which various leaders including Murtaza Wahab, Moula Bakhsh Chandio, Chief Secretary Sindh, Inspector General and Advocate General participated.

Talking on the occasion, CM Sindh said that continuous anti-terrorism operations have reduced kidnappings for ransom, target killings, extortion and other terror bids.

He said that contacts have been developed with the law enforcement agencies in the province while the formation of new Anti-Terrorism Courts is also about to complete.

It was also decided that CM Sindh will participate in the upcoming meeting of NAP due in Islamabad.
