SIALKOT: Federal Minister for Defence, Water and Power, Khawaja Muhammad Asif Sunday said that operation against terrorists would continue till the elimination of last terrorist in the country.
Talking to the newsmen, he said the operation would go to its logical end for weeding out terrorism.
He said that Pakistan had ever played frontline role against terrorism and it had rendered a large number of sacrifices for eliminating terrorism and establish durable peace globally.
He said the PML-N government was committed to weed out terrorism from the country.
He said the whole nation stood united against terrorism and was ready to sacrifice even their lives while battling against terrorism shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces.
Khawaja Muhammad Asif said the operation Zarb-e-Azb had broken the backbone of terrorists.
Earlier, addressing the participants of an Open Kutchery held at PML-N House Paris Road Sialkot, the Federal Defence Minister said the PML-N government was making sincere efforts to raise the living standard of people by ensuring provision of all basic facilities at their doorsteps.
He listened to the problems of people and issued on the spot orders for resolving the same.
Local MPAs Ch. Muhammad Ikram, Rana Liaqat Ali, Mansha Ullah Butt, Shabeena Majeed Wyne and local PML-N leaders were also present.
