KARACHI:- Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that operation against terrorists will continue for peace.
He said this is a big achievement of Rangers and Police that peace has returned to the city but we are committed to making it sustainable.
This, he said while talking to DG Rangers, Major General Bilal Akbar who called on him at CM House, said a statement on Wednesday. DG Rangers Bilal Akbar briefed the CM Sindh about the operation against terrorists, targeted operation, Lyari operation and overall law and order situation in the city.
The Sindh CM appreciated the efforts of Rangers in restoring peace in the city. The challenge is to make the peace sustainable, the CM added.
“No doubt, our law enforcement agencies with the support of intelligence agencies have achieved big success in combating terrorists from the outskirts of Karachi,” the CM said.
Qaim urged the DG Rangers to ensure smooth and peaceful polling in NA-245 and PS-115 Karachi ,where bye-election is being held on April 7.
