ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has said the Muslim Ummah should unite to restore peace and prosperity in their countries and end the sufferings of their people.
He was talking to Nobel Peace Laureate Tawakkol Abdel-Salam Karman, who along with a delegation called on him in Islamabad.
The President noted that MrsTawakkol Abdel-Salam Karman is one of the youngest Nobel Prize laureates so she represents all youth and not only women. Referring to the menace of terrorism, he said the government has decided to fight it and operation against the terrorists and criminals will continue till their complete elimination.
He said Pakistan desires peace in Afghanistan, the region and wants to have friendly relations with all countries particularly its neighbours.
Meanwhile, talking to outgoing Ambassador of Cuba Jesus Zenen Buergo the President said Pakistan desires to deepen bilateral relations with Cuba in all fields.
During his meeting with Ambassador-designate to Pakistan of Brazil S M Burhan-ul-Islam, President Mamnoon Hussain underscored the need to translate the existing goodwill between the two countries in building solid trade and commercial ties.
