ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan claimed on Wednesday that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Pervez Khattak become ‘Hero of Pakistan’. He praised KP CM and his cabinet over showing bravery during Islamabad protests.
Imran Khan, while addressing ‘Thanksgiving Rally’ organised at Parade Ground in Islamabad, alleged that KP caravan was treated like an enemy when it entered into Punjab province. PTI workers were brutally tortured, jailed by the riot police, he added.
The PTI chief said nation which fight for its independence will get level of greatness around the world. He claimed that the caravan entering into federal capital was stopped only on his order to avoid chances of bloodshed as both sides were comprising of Pakistanis. Nobody has right to jail or torture any national, he added.
Corrupt leaders were forcing a national to fight another national in order to skip accountability, Imran said. He said, “PTI has never believed on armed struggle as their only arm was cigar of Sheikh Rasheed.” He alleged that Sharif brothers were deceiving whole nation over their wrongdoings.
The PTI Chairman once again mocked politicians of different political parties by terming Khursheed Shah as ‘Double Shah’ while he said, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif made dramas before the nation in news conference. He alleged Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman was receiving money from federal government after PTI’s protests against PM Nawaz Sharif. He also thrashed former president Asif Ali Zardari, saying that Zardari was looting the country in the garb of democracy.
