PESHAWAR: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq on Sunday said that only corruption was prevalent in the country, saying that rulers are voted to power to serve the masses not to rule them.
Addressing a public meeting in Karak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sirajul Haq said that the resources of the country had been taken over by looters and a particular groups, adding that the country could not progress until getting rid of the looter and the ‘qabza group’. He said that the Jamaat-e-Islami had the potential to bring Islamic revolution in the country, saying that Islamic system based on justice and equality was the solution of our all problems. He pledged that if voted to power the JI would not stash the public exchequers in offshore accounts rather would serve masses.
Addressing the meeting, JI Khyber Pakhtunhwa chief Mushtaq Ahmed Khan said that the JI wanted Pakistan to be as per the visions of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Muhammad Iqbal. He added that the country had been taken over by the financial terrorists. INP
