VEHARI: One student died while another was critically wounded when a van hit a motorcycle here on Tuesday.
Police said that the accident occurred near Hari Chand locality of Vehari where an over speeding passenger van knocked down a motorcycle carrying two students. One student died on the spot while other was injured. The van driver fled the scene of accident.
The body and injured student were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities and the police after registering a case against the fleeing van driver started raids for his arrest.
