SARGODHA: One person was killed and ten others sustained injuries in separate road accidents in the jurisdiction of Atta Shaheed and Bhalwal police stations on Tuesday.
Police said that Muhammad Kashif along with his friend Tanveer was riding a motorbike on Faisalabad road when a speeding truck hit his two-wheeler near Chak 58-SB.
As a result, Kashif died on the spot while another person received injuries.
In another accident, nine people including two women were injured when a commuters van collided with a tractor trolley near Noon Sugar Mills Bhalwal.
The injured were shifted to DHQ hospital where the condition of three passengers was stated to be serious.
Cases have been registered.
