KARACHI: Former Pakistan batsman Javed Miandad had scored a double-century to become the youngest player to hit the double ton on October 31, 1976, exactly 41 years ago today.

Miandad, who played from 1975 to 1996 and had been known for his unique batting technique, was described as the greatest batsman Pakistan has ever produced by ESPN.
The star middle-order batsman, who also served as a captain and coach of national team, has been known for his last ball six against India in 1986 at Sharjah ground.
