LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Shahryar Khan has said that cricket teams from Hong Kong and Oman wanted to visit Pakistan.

While talking to media, he said that Indian Cricket Board stood on MoU and awaiting for approval from their government. Hong Kong was ready to play in Karachi but most of the foreign teams prefer to play in Lahore, he said.

Shahryar Khan said that ICC had established a taskforce four years ago to restore cricket in Pakistan but the task force could not show adequate progress.

He was of view that they wanted to see active players instead of retired players in the international XI. Pakistan would launch Super League this year, he said and added that the League would be held in UAE or Qatar.
