LAHORE: Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has given surety to sponsor the Green-Shirts to play all important Olympics qualifiers in Belgium later this month.
Due to shortage of funds PHF has been appealing to the government and other institutions for last two year which had put Pakistan Hockey team’s participation in Olympics at stake.
However, after receiving the application from PHF, the board has decided to sent Pakistan team to Belgium.
Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has announced two day trial in Islamabad on 11 and 12 June to select the team for qualifying round.
The qualifier round will start from June 20 which will end on July 5 for which Pakistan hockey team’s training camp is going on in Islamabad with help of PSF.
