OIC chief offers condolences over terror attacks in key member states

OIC expresses concern over abusive treatment of Muslims in India

JEDDAH: Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr Yousef Al-Othaimeen has offered his condolences to the governments and people of the Turkey, Egypt, Nigeria and the Somalia, in particular to the bereaved families of the victims in different terrorist incidents that occurred in the OIC member states claiming scores of innocent lives and injuring hundreds of others.

Dr Al-Othaimeen prayed for quick recovery of the wounded as well as for the salvation of the departed souls.

The Secretary General reiterated the OIC’s firm and principled position against terrorists and their nefarious acts whatever their claim and justification emphasizing that terrorism has no boundary, religion, belief, culture or race, calling at the same time for immediate action to redouble efforts in confronting this global menace.
