‘Nuclear weapons are not for fireworks in Pakistan’

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani defence minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has thwarted back-to-back offensive statements being made by Indian political leadership. The defence minister said, ‘Those who are reminding us Burma situation should keep remember that Pakistan’s nuke arsenals are definitely not just for fireworks.’

Khawaja Muhammad Asif in his recent statement said that Pakistan should be kept superior at any situation even on India, Afghanistan or other countries while all policies would be designed in interest of Pakistan.

He reiterated Pakistani stance once again that the country always wanted better ties with India but threatening remarks cannot be appreciated which exhibited Indian status to see Pakistan inside a restricted boundary. He said that Pakistan is successfully fighting terrorism by ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb. Pakistan was engaged in a war that was contrary to its interests while Operation Zarb-e-Azb is removing debris of the mistakes made in past.

Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan-China Economic Corridor (PCEC) will leave impacts across the region. He praised tremendous sacrifices of the martyrs for security of Pakistan.
