MAKKAH: Automated Sanitising Robots have been introduced at the Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi (PBUH) for the smart sanitising in the wake of coronavirus pandemic.

Media reports said that Abdul Rehman Al-Sudais, the chief of administration of the Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi (PBUH), inaugurated the Automated Sanitising Robots at the both mosques.
According to Abdul Rehman Al-Sudais, these robots will carry out the smart sanitising at the both mosques to keep them virus-free.
He said that the robots are fully automatic and independent and work with the help of built-in sensors.
They can work from 5 to 8 hours without any interruption. The robots have the capacity of carrying upto 24,000 litres of sanitiser, he added.
He said that a robot takes one hour to spray two litres of sanitiser.
