Non-bailable arrest warrants of Pervez Musharraf issued

Anti Terrorism Court has rejected former President of Pakistan General Pervez Musharraf exemption from appearing plea, issued a non-bailable arrest warrants and ordered police to present him before the court on October 1.

Islamabad ATC hearing Judges detention case rejected Musharraf’s plea of exemption from appearing after not showing a medical certificate.

The prosecutor Amir Nadeem Tabish told the court the witness are unable to record their statement before the court today (Friday).

He said that one witness  Mustafa Kiani is on medical leave while other witness Qasir Niazi went to perform Hajj.

Court after hearing issued a non-bailabale arrest warrants of former Chief of Army staff and ordered police to present him before the court on October 1.
