KARACHI: Meteorological Department of Pakistan has denied any threat of another heat wave in Pakistan including Karachi.
According to reports, it has been predicted that climate in June will remain hot and dry in most parts of the country.
The persistent heatwave coinciding with the prolonged power outages have claimed at least 1100 lives in Sindh.
The hospitals had earlier refused to admit more patients into the medical facility due to lack of beds and facilities while the morgues had also ran out of space.
Met Office further informed that one more spell of scattered rain/thundershowers is expected in upper parts of the country during the coming week.
