ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that there has been no tax on the import of machinery used in cinema and film production in Finance Amendment Bill 2021.
Taking to Twitter on Friday, the information minister said that heavy tax had been imposed on importing drama and hiring foreign models in advertisements.

The purpose of slapping high tax on hiring foreign models in commercials is to protect local local artists and the film industry, Fawad Chaudhry said.
