ISLAMABAD: The senate was informed on Friday that average daily oil production from Kohat, Karak and Hangu districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during current fiscal year 2015 – 2016) is 43,299 barrels.
State Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, Jam Kamal replying to a question said that at present there is no proposal under consideration to establish oil refinery by the government in these three districts.
Answering to another question, he said SNGPL has reported that no funds have been allocated for the project of supply of natural gas to Dara Adam Khel, FR Kohat during the fiscal year 2015-16 due to severe resistance rendered by the locals.
