ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that no matter how much pressure comes relations between Pakistan and China will not change.

Talking to Chinese media representatives, Imran Khan said that China has lifted 700 million people out of poverty in a few years which is a great achievement. We want to further develop political, economic and trade relations between Pakistan and China.

The prime minister said that Pakistanis are impresses by the Chinese president’s fight against corruption. President Xi Jinping is considered a great politician of modern times in Pakistan. His anti-corruption campaign is effective and successful.

Replying to a question, Imran said that India could reap many benefits from trade with China.

He said that an economic rivalry had started between the West led by the US and China, adding that dividing the world would be a disastrous.

He said that the US expects from us siding with one country that is unfair.
