ISLAMABAD: Pakistan government seemed not to make further delay to implement death sentence of the death row prisoner Sualat Mirza as interior minister Chaudhry Nisar announced not to make delay in execution of the death row prisoner, local media reported here on Monday (today).
Sualat Mirza execution has been scheduled on May 12 (tomorrow) at 4:30am in accordance to the death warrant issued by an anti-terrorism court in Karachi.
Dawn News quoted Machh Jail Superintendent Muhammad Ishaq Zehri that Mirza’s wife, sister, brother and other relatives were among those allowed to have a last meeting via video link with the condemned prisoner on Monday afternoon at Balochistan’s Machh Jail.
On the other hand, some reports revealed that
Strict security measures were made in and around the jail premises including officials of Balochistan Constabulary and Frontier Corps personnel after issuance of the latest death warrants.
It should be mentioned here that Sualat Mirza’s execution had been postponed twice by the federal government.
