Another tax in KE bills likely to be slapped on Karachiites

KARACHI: K-Electric in its press note has announced that the company has exempted load-shed across the city during the Eid-ul-Azha holidays.

It said that there will be no load-shed from Thursday 24th till 27th of September. However, in an area as vast as Karachi and its surrounding areas, if there happens any fault it should not be mistaken with load-shed.

KE’s spokesman said, ‘Any sort of localized fault in a particular area or PMT would be dealt within the shortest possible time. We assure you that our teams have been deployed and they are working around the clock’.

The press note has also affirmed that KE’s teams will be on standby with added man-power and equipment during these holidays. In case of a fault, customers are advised to register their complaints on 118, 99000, SMS on 8119 or even log into KE’s Social Platform via Facebook or Twitter. Eid Mubarak.
